What is Electra?
Electra is an office fit-out in JAFZA, Dubai. Rectangle Interiors delivered the space planning, the fit-out and the bespoke joinery. A free-zone address means the fit-out is approved by the zone authority rather than the municipality.

Electra's office sits in JAFZA, which is a different working environment from a Business Bay tower — larger footprints, industrial neighbours, and a free-zone authority with its own approval process.
Free-zone permitting sat inside our scope, and in JAFZA that is usually where a programme is won or lost. The interior and the fit-out ran with our own crews, and we made the joinery ourselves.
A free zone approves its own fit-outs, so the permissions come from the zone authority rather than the municipality, on a route that has to be followed from the start. JAFZA offices also sit inside a working industrial estate, which shapes access and delivery hours.
Reception, meeting rooms and workstation joinery were made in our own workshop and delivered as finished units, which is the practical answer when site access is scheduled rather than open.
