What is Helioeast UAE?
Helioeast UAE is an office fit-out in One by Omniyat, Dubai. Rectangle Interiors delivered the space planning, the fit-out and the bespoke joinery. The fit-out was designed inside the building's shell and approved against the landlord's rules.
Designed and built by one team.
A workplace in One by Omniyat, planned as an open floor with glazed meeting rooms and a separate informal area — a high table and soft seating — so conversations do not have to happen at the desks.
The tower's access and approval requirements governed the work, which covered the interior, the fit-out and the joinery.
Glazed meeting rooms look simple and are not: glass gives no acoustic help, so the separation has to come from the partition head, the floor junction and the way services cross above the ceiling. Otherwise a room that looks private is not.
The glazed partitions were set out against joinery made in our own workshop, which lets the junctions be resolved as one detail rather than two trades meeting on site.
