Parents Concierge - Education

Parents Concierge is an education consultancy, so its office is somewhere families come to have long conversations rather than a place to process transactions. That puts the meeting rooms at the centre of the plan and the workstations behind them.

A smaller floor plate leaves no slack, so the built-in elements were made to the exact dimensions available — design, fit-out and joinery taken together.

Families arrive together, so the waiting area has to work for adults and children at the same time — sightlines from where a parent sits, surfaces that survive daily use, and enough separation that a consultation stays private. That is a comfort brief as much as a workplace one.

The lounge seating, reception and consultation-room joinery were made in our workshop, and the finishes were chosen for repeated cleaning rather than for a photograph.
