Signor Sassi is a restaurant in St. Regis Gardens, The Palm Jumeirah, Dubai. Rectangle Interiors took it from concept design through construction, including the bar and the bespoke millwork. The work was carried out inside an operating property, in the access windows it allowed.

Signor Sassi is a London restaurant with a long history, and this is its Palm Jumeirah room inside St. Regis Gardens. Bringing an established venue to a new city is a question of what to carry over and what to change, and the answer has to survive contact with a different building.
The venue sits within a hotel development, so the programme was coordinated with the property alongside the restaurant's own team. Interior, construction, bar and fitted furniture were all ours.
A restaurant with a long history carries details its regulars recognise, and reproducing them inside a Palm Jumeirah property means clearing both the group's standards and the building's engineering requirements before work starts.
The bar, the banquettes and the decorative joinery were made in our own workshop and installed during the property's permitted access hours.
