Akoya Oxygen Villas

Akoya Oxygen in Damac Hills is a large master-planned community, and villas within it come to the same base specification. The interior is where an individual house stops being one of a type.

We handled the design, the fit-out and the joinery, and furnished it. Built-in elements were produced in our own workshop so the finish level was ours to set rather than the developer's.

Master-planned communities set their own rules before any drawing is approved: the developer issues a no-objection certificate, contractors work to community access hours, and anything visible from outside is theirs to agree. That timetable belongs to the community, not the programme.

The house was handed over finished rather than in stages, which in a community still under construction means the owners were not living around trades once they moved in.
