What is Avli by Tashas?
Avli by Tashas is a restaurant in DIFC, Dubai. Rectangle Interiors took it from concept design through construction, including the bar and the bespoke millwork. A DIFC address means the fit-out is approved through the district's own authority.

Avli is the Tashas group's Greek restaurant, and this DIFC location puts it in an office district where the lunch and dinner trades are almost different businesses. The room has to work for both without being reset in between.
We were responsible for the interior, the construction and the millwork. DIFC's fit-out approvals and its restrictions on working hours shaped the sequence of the build.
A DIFC unit is approved through the district's own authority rather than the municipality, and the kitchen extraction has to find a route through a building designed as offices. That route is usually settled before the dining room is drawn.
The bar, the host stand and the fitted banquettes were made in our own workshop, so the room could be installed as finished components inside the tower's restricted delivery hours.
