Avyanco

Avyanco is a business-services firm whose office receives clients continuously rather than occasionally. That pushes the balance towards front of house: meeting rooms and reception take the space and the finish, and the working floor is planned around them.

Design, construction and joinery were delivered together. Fitted furniture was made to the room dimensions rather than bought to approximate them, which is what lets a floor this size hold a consistent line.

An office that receives clients all day needs the visitor route and the working floor kept apart, so meeting rooms sit near the entrance and the desks sit behind them. That separation is a planning decision made before any finish is chosen.

Reception, meeting-room joinery and the storage walls came out of our own workshop, and the fit-out was sequenced so the business could keep taking meetings while the rear of the floor was still being built.
