A villa on the Dubai Hills golf course is designed outward. The rooms facing the fairway set the hierarchy of the plan, and the interior's job is to keep that view as the subject rather than compete with it.
Our scope was the full interior — planning, finishes, bespoke joinery and furniture. It was handed over complete rather than left for a separate furnishing stage.
Designing outward means the rooms facing the fairway set the plan and the rest follows. That decides where the kitchen and services sit, because anything that needs a wall goes to the back of the house rather than the view side.
The joinery — wardrobes, the kitchen and the fitted storage — was made in our own workshop, and the community's approval and access rules were worked to throughout.
