What is Movenpick Hotel?
Movenpick Hotel is a hotel interior in JBR, Dubai. Rectangle Interiors delivered the interior design, the fit-out and the bespoke joinery. Design, fit-out and joinery were delivered by a single in-house team.

Operating within an international brand's standards means the interior answers to a specification set outside Dubai as well as to the property itself. Brand compliance is a real constraint on a job like this, not a formality.
The operator's requirements governed the specification, and the joinery was made in-house to meet it as part of the interior and fit-out.
A brand standard is a document, not a drawing of your building. The work is reconciling the two: keeping the specified finishes, dimensions and fittings while accommodating a JBR tower's structure, risers and floor-to-ceiling heights.
Repeated elements were prototyped and then built as a run, so that the twentieth room matches the first — which is the actual test on a hotel job.
